Character and Leadership

Our Commitment

Boys & Girls Clubs are committed to providing enriching experiences and exposure opportunities to help youth build essential social-emotional skills, in addition to skills that lead to strong leaders who create meaningful change through service learning. Combined, these skills make them adaptable and resilient both within the Club and as they venture out into the world.

When youth learn the value of giving back through service, they develop pride in their communities. Exposure to meaningful service-learning opportunities where youth build valuable skills, such as communication, problem-solving and goal setting in partnership with their peers and caring adults, prepares them to be leaders who create meaningful change within themselves and for their communities.
